DESCRIPTION:The Great Texas Airshow returns to JBSA-Randolph May 2-3 \nDue to forecasted inclement weather\, Military Appreciation Day at the Great Texas Airshow at JBSA-Randolph\, scheduled for tomorrow\, May 1\, has been canceled.  We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our community and participants. Airshow activities and aerial performances are expected to proceed on Saturday and Sunday. Check back here for the latest updates and details as you prepare for this weekend’s air show. \nJOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO\, Texas – The Great Texas Airshow will return to Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph on May 2-3\, featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Parachute Team\, the “Golden Knights.”   This year’s theme is “Let Freedom Roar; Honoring 250 Years.” The event is free and open to the public.  Gates will open at 9 a.m. each day\, with aerial performances scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.  A Military Appreciation Day for all Department of War ID cardholders is scheduled for Friday\, May 1.  The day will include a STEM Fair featuring cyber events and activities\, along with aerial practice demonstrations.  In addition to the Thunderbirds and Golden Knights\, other planned military acts include demonstration teams for the C-17\, KC-46\, and the F-22.  The event will also feature static displays and support from all branches of the military. Planned acts are subject to change. \nFor more information\, visit https://www.jbsa.mil/GreatTexasAirshow/.  SEATS ARE SOLD OUT \n \n\n2026 AIR SHOW PREMIUM SEATING  \nPREMIUM SEATING (RESERVED SEATING)\nNormal admission price is $55 for adults and children (children younger than 2 don’t require a ticket but won’t have a seat) \nIncluded with your ticket: \nPremier location at show center\nTent with shaded open tables and reserved seating directly in front for superb viewing of the\naerial performances.\nVIP restroom (with AC and flushing toilets)\nCraft beer\, domestic beer\, wine\, soda\, bottled water\, Gatorade\, snacks and small\nconcessions available for purchase in seating area. \nOne drink ticket for any drink valued up to $10 (to use only in premium seating)\nGreat Texas Airshow branded Koozie\n\nA shuttle service will be offered from the public entrance to premium seating and back.
