DESCRIPTION:🚛 GOT JUNK TO GET RID OF?   \nCome and join your neighbors as we plan and get ready for our 🍁 2024 Fall Community Clean Up 🍂 sponsored by your Miller’s Point Neighborhood Association\, Inc.  This is a perfect opportunity to remove unwanted junk in the garage\, shed\, and in or around the house.  Please show CPS Energy or waste billing statement as proof of residency.  We need volunteers to come and help at the Junk and Brush on November 9th & 10th.  If you would like to volunteer\, please visit the website at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E44A8AF2CAAFAC43-52878388-2024 to sign up.  If you have any questions\, please contact us at millerspointna@gmail.com. \nWe are accepting membership dues and donations at this event. \n   \nLOCATION: Event Field Next To Miller’s Point Elementary School\nADDRESS: 7027 Misty Ridge Dr.\, Converse\, Texas 78109\nDATE: November 9th & 10th\, 2024\nTIME: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. \nVOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED: To volunteer and sign up for a time slot\, please click here\n\n \nJUNK NOT ACCEPTED: NO hazardous waste\, NO gardening tools (oil or gas operated)\, NO tires\, NO bagged garbage\, TVs\, computers\, monitors\, paint\, toxic substance\, flammable\, explosive\, infectious\, biohazardous\, no liquids\, etc. \nBULK ACCEPTED: furniture\, cabinets\, couches\, tables\, books\, bookcases\, dressers\, toys\, clothes\, box springs\, mattresses\, bed frames\, desks\, shredder\, plastic containers\, wood\, railroad ties\, etc. \nMETAL ACCEPTED: standard residential sized stoves\, water heaters\, washing machines\, microwaves\, small to medium grills (no propane)\, refrigerators\, window air conditioner\, auto parts (metal only\, no oil\, or gas items)\, and other appliances (with all CFCs removed and tagged by a certified technician). \nBRUSH ACCEPTED: shrubs\, tree branches\, woody vines\, other herbaceous and woody plants. Grass\, leaves\, and other small items should be bagged and ARE NOT to exceed 35 pounds per bag.  Tree limbs and cuttings must be 12 inches in diameter or less and cannot be longer than four feet and must be bundled and tied with twine\, string\, duct tape or similar cord. \nWhat’s Happening in Your Community\nTo view upcoming events\, please visit millerspointna.org/event-calendar/.  We will be selling MPNA t-shirts at this event.  The neighborhood t-shirts are for all sizes (youth and adult) at $10.00 per t-shirt and the funds raised will go toward the cost of the Miller’s Point front entrance sign.  If you have any questions or concerns\, please email us at millerspointna@gmail.com.  Thank you\, stay safe\, stay protected\, and have a great week!😊
