🎈2023 National Night Out (Against Crime Awareness) | Tuesday, October 3, 2023 @ 6:00PM – 8:00PM

Hi Neighbor!  We invite you to come out to the 2023 National Night Out Policing Community event today, October 3, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Miller’s Point Elementary School.  Don’t forget to wear your National Night Out t-shirt if you have one.

What To Expect at MP National Night:
* Bring the whole family for a day of community fun with family, friends, and neighbors
* Enjoy cold treats and mingle with local police and fire department while kids have fun exploring the ladder truck
* Learn Child Safety Tips: Understanding how developers collect and share your data
* Meet the Board and Committee Members serving in your neighborhood and community
* Lots of fun and excitement playing games and family fun activities and listen to the DJ play music
* $5.00 for Frito Pie or Homemade Queso
* FREE event, snacks and water

Instructions For JustDogs34 Food Truck:
* In Appreciation, Neighbors helping Neighbors are offering a FREE Hotdog Combo to the first 50 participants (this is first come first serve basis)
* FREE Hotdog Combo tickets will be given out at the Membership Drive table
* Thereafter, $10.00 for each Hotdog Combo
* Menu Options: Dogmonia: Chili, Cheese, JD34Onions; Ole Faithful: All The Fixins’; and Plain Jane: Classic Ketchup + Mustard
* All Combos Include: Choice of 1/4lb Dog + Chips + Drinks (menu attached in email)

* We need a generator and a total of six Game Coaches for Sports Inflatable Basket Heads, Giant Yard Pong, Giant Kick Darts, and Giant 4 To Score.  Three Safety Guards.

Video Game Truck (What’s included): This game truck has FIVE (5) widescreen 4K TVs covering the walls in front of custom stadium seats with built-in vibration motors synced to the on-screen action with speakers in front and back.  Everything is linked, so 16 or 24 players can play the same game with one another — or against each other!  It has TWO (2) TV’s on the outside for added fun and excitement.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help strengthening relationships between local police and the communities they serve. This is one of our biggest supporting events in “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” to the betterment our neighborhood and build a partnership with the community, city officials, first responders, and law enforcement to learn tips on crime prevention.

National Night Out is held the first Tuesday of August.  However, Texas celebrates on the first Tuesday in October.
